BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Southwestern Athletic Conference will gather its programs for the annual SWAC Football Media Day on Wednesday, July 15 at 11:00 a.m. EST at the Sheraton-Birmingham, and Florida A&M arrives with momentum, expectations, and a championship pedigree that sets the tone for the entire league.
Representing the Rattlers will be a battle-tested core: dynamic quarterback Isaiah Knowles, disruptive defensive lineman Antonio Camon, and head coach Quinn Fordham Gray Sr., whose vision for FAMU football has the Orange and Green positioned to make noise across the SWAC this fall. Gray brings a builder's mentality and a clear identity to Tallahassee — physical up front, opportunistic on defense, and unafraid of the spotlight that comes with wearing one of the most recognizable brands in HBCU athletics.
All twelve SWAC head coaches will address the media on the season ahead, but few programs walk into Birmingham with the tradition, fan base, and national platform that Florida A&M carries. The Rattlers' presence is a reminder of who sets the standard in this conference.
